In the name of Allah, the ...beneficent, the merciful...
For 40 years, or was it longer, I can't remember, I did all I could to give people houses, hospitals, schools, and when they were hungry, I gave them food. I even made Benghazi into farmland from the desert, I stood up to attacks from that cowboy Ronald Reagan, when he killed my adopted orphaned daughter, he was trying to kill me, instead he killed that poor innocent child. Then I helped my brothers and sisters from Africa with money for the African Union.
I did all I could to help people Understand the concept of real democracy, where people's committees ran our country. But that was never enough, as some told me, even people who had 10 room homes, new suits and furniture, were never satisfied, as selfish as they were they wanted more. They told Americans and other visitors, that they needed "democracy" and "freedom" never realizing it was a cut throat system, where the biggest dog eats the rest, but they were enchanted with those words, never realizing that in America, there was no free medicine, no free hospitals, no free housing, no free education and no free food, except when people had to beg or go to long lines to get soup.
No, no matter what I did, it was never enough for some, but for others, they knew I was the son of Gamal Abdel Nasser, the only true Arab and Muslim leader we've had since Salah-al-Deen, when he claimed the Suez Canal for his people, as I claimed Libya, for my people, it was his footsteps I tried to follow, to keep my people free from colonial domination - from thieves who would steal from us.
Now, I am under attack by the biggest force in military history, my little African son, Obama wants to kill me, to take away the freedom of our country, to take away our free housing, our free medicine, our free education, our free food, and replace it with American style thievery, called "capitalism", but all of us in the Third World know what that means, it means corporations run the countries, run the world, and the people suffer.
So, there is no alternative for me, I must make my stand, and if Allah wishes, I shall die by following His path, the path that has made our country rich with farmland, with food and health, and even allowed us to help ouhttps://www.twenty20.com/invite/numohmashudnmr African and Arab brothers and sisters.
I do not wish to die, but if it comes to that, to save this land, my people, all the thousands who are all my children, then so be it.
Let this testament be my voice to the world, that I stood up to crusader attacks of NATO, stood up to cruelty, stoop up to betrayal, stood up to the West and its colonialist ambitions, and that I stood with my African brothers, my true Arab and Muslim brothers, as a beacon of light.
When others were building castles, I lived in a modest house, and in a tent. I never forgot my youth in Sirte, I did not spend our national treasury foolishly, and like Salah-al-Deen, our great Muslim leader, who rescued Jerusalem for Islam, I took little for myself...

AN OPEN LETTER TO OBINIM CHURCH

If you decide to belong to a church that will humiliate you a guy for impregnating a lady out of wedlock or you a pregnant lady, then that is purely up to you. Apart from that confused angel, I haven't heard of any church that will dare assault a lady and a guy for engaging in sexually intercourse and ending up with pregnancy.
Because away from the religious self-righteous nonsense, assault is a criminal offence which is against not only the individual but the state, and anyone who allows him or herself to be assaulted in the name of some god is just a plain idiot.
After visiting some churches and seeing how some of its members have been possessed by the spirit of ‘holier than thou’, I'm left to believe that most Christians in our part of the world are ignorant, selfish and judgmental. Yet the Holy Book says ‘Judge not, and you shall not be judged’. Jesus the Christ accepted everyone without pointing out their sins -including the prostitute Mary Magdalene-.
In Christianity which means Christ-like or behaving like Christ, there is a popular account where a woman (Mary Magdalene) was brought to Jesus the Christ for being a prostitute or a ‘loose woman’. Expecting Christ to condemn the woman, the crowd were shocked with the Messiah asked each of them without sin to cast the first stone. This Mary later became a disciple of Christ.
Why can’t we Christians who claim to be emulating the Christ behave in that regard?
To the Churches, will you prefer that youth will pretend to be without sin as they engage in abortions- which is murder, one which is the greatest sins among most religions- and all manner of sinful behaviour or they come in their sinful nature just like Saul and Mary Magdalene did, and should they get pregnant and you counsel them, accept them just as Jesus the Christ accepted you even in your sin and filth?

Some have argued that he was disciplining the two individuals for engaging in sexual activity which resulted in pregnancy. If he had done that in his house without publishing it and none of the affected parties felt the need to report it fine. But once it was published (through social media and other platforms) it goes beyond the 2 to become a criminal offence which is against the state as well.
Again other say as the guardian of the 2, he had the right to discipline them any how or anywhere he likes. I think that is total nonsense. Do you remember the story of the grandparents who decide to discipline their grandkid giving him pressing iron burns? They are prosecuted and jailed for the act. That was the best way they felt they could discipline the kid but was that right in the sight of the law? No!!!
As a man of god, common sense should have told him not to subject a pregnant lady to that form of punishment. I'm no medical practitioner yet I know that he could have caused the lady to lose the pregnancy as a result. I reckon that he and his god will prefer that the innocent baby who was given by God will die because it was conceived out of wedlock. It's a shame!!!

As ruler of one of the largest empires in the world at that time, Abubakari sought to increase the power and influence of Mali even further. While his brother was interested in extending the borders of the empire to the east, toward Cairo, Abubakari apparently focused on westward expansion by exploring the waters to the west of his kingdom.
Al-Umari recorded the story Mansa Musa told in Egypt in 1324: "The monarch who preceded me would not believe that it was impossible to discover the limits of the neighboring sea. He wished to know. He persisted in his plan. He caused the equipping of two hundred ships and filled them with men, and of each such number that were filled with gold, water, and food for two years. He said to the commanders: Do not return until you have reached the end of the ocean, or when you have exhausted your food and water."
According to al-Umari, only one ship returned. Its captain reported to Abubakari that he had watched as the other ships sailed on, entered a broad current in the midst of the ocean, and disappeared.
Abubakari then decided to build a fleet of two thousand boats and to command it himself. In 1311 Abubakari set out with his fleet down the Senegal River and headed west in the Atlantic. He never returned to Mali, and his brother became Mansa Musa in 1312.
Malian scholar Gaoussou Diawara has argued that he reached the Americas some time in the early 14th century. Another historian and linguist, Leo Weiner, in his book; Africa and the discovery of America, explained how Columbus noted in his journal that Native Americans had confirmed that “black skinned people had come from the south-east in boats, trading in gold-tipped spears.”

More than a hundred police officers in riot gear, backed up by water cannons and armored trucks, occupied the venue that opposition parties planned to use for their march.
Mugabe’s opponents have become emboldened by rising public anger and protests over an economic meltdown, cash shortages and high unemployment.Mugabe, 92, has led Zimbabwe since independence from Britain in 1980.
As opposition supporters arrived for the march, they were told by the police to leave. The officers then fired teargas and a water cannon when parts of the crowd refused to comply, a Reuters witness reported.

Today we're celebrating Kang-Xing Jin's 10 year anniversary at Facebook! I met KX on our first day of class at Harvard. I had been up coding the night before,
Today we're celebrating Kang-Xing Jin's 10 year anniversary at Facebook!
I met KX on our first day of class at Harvard. I had been up coding the night before,
and in my exhaustion I walked into class with my shirt on inside out and backwards. KX was the only person who didn't think it was weird. He later told me he didn't even notice.
KX and I ended up working on computer science and math problem sets together, and we'd go out to pizza almost every night at this place called Pinocchio's -- we called it Noch's -- in Harvard Square. We used to talk about the future and how we thought technology was going to change things. I remember very clearly the night I launched the first version of Facebook, talking with KX and a couple of other friends about how one day someone was going to build a community to connect the whole world. We never thought it might be us.
KX likes to remind me that he actually graduated from college before coming out to California. Still, over the years he's worked on almost everything we've built. He was on the team that built the first version of News Feed. He helped run our business and advertising services. Now he's in charge of a big part of the Facebook app and continues to play a huge role in shaping what Facebook is today.
KX, thank you for helping me get me through those two years of college and -- more importantly -- for helping connect so many people. You've been an amazing friend and partner every step of the way.

They intentionally compile all their hobbies and arranged them as Olympic sport. As in, what am I seeing? Water polo, Dancing horses, Fencing, Rowing, Gymnastics etc.
Then they invite us knowing that as Africans, our sense no go beyond football and 100 meters.
So we are just there to watch them carry 30, 60 gold medals while we are battling for 1 silver and 3 bronze.
We should organise a protest oooo. We must boycott this Olympic 419 games until they add more afrocentric sports like...

but shockingly stayed off the red carpet.The Chief before his main address asked that a special libation be poured and the talking drum beaten to thank Almighty God and their ancestors for the blessing.The Chiefs mother who spoke to journalists around after the incident said,the same miracle happened when Nkrumah visited that land and since then,nothing of this kind has happened on the land.The folks in the town couldn't believe what happened and their amazement reached the crescendo when 10 minutes rain showers dropped.

An investigation into the hygiene of reusable water bottles found fitness fanatics trying to stay hydrated during a workout could be making themselves sick.
The Treadmill Reviews website asked EmLab P&K to test 12 water bottles which had been used by an athlete for a week without being washed. ‘Based on the 12 water bottles we tested, we found that reusable drinking containers may be crawling with an alarming number of viable bacteria cells,’ Treadmill Reviews said.
Based on the findings, more than 300,000 colony-forming units of bacteria per square centimetre (CFU/sq cm) could be found in your water bottle. ‘To put it bluntly, drinking from the average refillable bottle can be many times worse than licking your dog’s toy,’ according to the website.

The ka'ba according to tafthir of ibn kathir existed at the time of Adam a.s and it was just the foundation that is important.
Abraham a.s
and isma'il a.s rehabilitated the kaaba and during that time, Abraham a.s use to place the marble stones while ismail bring them to him. As he was a short person,he asked for a stone and it took the footprint of his foot.
Quran says surah 2:124-28 of the rehabilitation of the kaaba.
The stones used as marble stones and it is white. The kaaba is covered with kiswa,a black cloth with golden caligraphy laa ilaha illallaah on it..
The black stone called hajar ul aswad is believed to be white and was like milk placed in paradise..
Due to the sin of mankind, the white stone turns black with some little white spots on it.. It is the stone that people start doing tawaf and ends with the stone.it was placed at the right hand corner of the kaaba.
This stone is not an god but a historical stone to remember of Adam a.s and the facts with this stone.
Hajj is one of the pillar of Islam and is the second act of worship that is done in a particular year as ramadhan. Solat is the only worship done everyday among the pillars of Islam.
Performing umra can be done anytime not hajj.
Hajj is done once but recommended to do it many as it is nawafil.
For once hajj to be accepted,there are certain things one needs to observe.
1.sincere intention to do it for the sake of Allah and not for show off.
2.the wealth of one should be halal earning and not haraam because Allah did not made it obligatory unless one have halal money,then it becomes obligatory.
May Allah protects and guides us all. Ameen.

Veteran Ghanaian movie star George Williams is reportedly dead.
Mr. George's untimely demise according to a confirmed report on Peace FM News@12, occurred at the Korle-bu Teaching hospital on Monday morning, August 1,
2016. The cause of his death is not immediately known.
Known for distinguished roles in movies such as Genesis Chapter X, Dogo Yaro, Bloody Kids, Mama and TV series, Ultimate Paradise, Uncle George said he feels sad for our recent movies. To him, they are not the best.
With his eloquence and articulation, Uncle George spent most of his working time as a broadcaster, changing roles between the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), then as the head of presentation for the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service (SLBS) and also having a stint with the Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation. He also did some freelance jobs for Liberian Broadcasting Corporation.
Uncle George was born in 1929 to a famous lawyer, Francis Awoonor Williams whose ancestors are from Sierra Leone and his late mom, Nora Rosemond Awoonor Williams.
He started his secondary education at the Aggrey Memorial School in the Central Region, then to the Achimota Secondary School before ending up at Adisadel College in 1941.
After leaving Adisadel College in 1945, he became a Lab Assistant at the Physics Lab in Achimota for almost two years.
In 1947, he left for England where he enrolled at the Balham & Tooting College of Commerce.
Uncle George, with some of his colleagues, started performing gigs in nightclubs just as they played piano and drums for some of the top-gun dancers and musicians of the time.
He continued to explore and further acquainted himself with all the areas of showbiz. He then went to the Buddy Bradley's School of Stage Dancing at the west end of London, one of the famous schools at the time, to learn how to dance but surprisingly, ended up acting rather.
Uncle George left behind five children.

It is understood, however, that Juventus will announce the fee at £84.3m on account of the tax they are due to pay on the transfer. The current world record transfer fee is the £86m paid by Real Madrid to Tottenham for Gareth Bale in 2013.
Pogba had a medical in Los Angeles after his recent holiday in Florida before signing a five-year contract worth £290,000 a week. The add-ons will include a bonus to Juventus should he renew his contract at United and another should he win the Ballon d'Or.
The France star was spotted out and about in Beverly HIlls on Thursday visiting Mr Chow - a high-end Chinese cuisine restaurant - and shopping for a new pair of shoes.

Children of pastors are immoral because their parents live a life of hypocrisy, Pastor Mensa Otabil has said.
Teaching his congregation about generational leadership on Sunday, 12 June, 2016, the founder and general overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) said some pastors, who are supposed to live what they preach, as an example to their families and church members, rather turn to establish principles and values, which they do not live by.
“Sometimes generational leaders lay down the rules, but their actions are opposite their own rules. And I said if you know that your previous action is inconsistent, be upfront with it, but don’t be a hypocrite,” Pastor Otabil preached.
“You know, sometimes, people say that pastors’ children are bad people, and there’s a truth in it, because there’s a lot of pastors’ children, who are bad boys and girls. But what makes the pastor’s child a bad boy or girl? People say: ‘Well it’s because the devil is attacking [them].’ No! No! No! No! No! It’s not the [devil]. Leave the devil out for the time being; it’s not the devil attacking the pastors’ children, it’s because of hypocrisy. They see and hear what their father says on the pulpit and they come home and they see differently.
“They [children] see the man doesn’t live what he is saying. And, believe you me, children can smell hypocrisy one mile away. When you were young, you could smell hypocrisy; your children will smell it on you, too. When you are saying [on the pulpit]: ‘Hey, hey be righteous!’, and they see you living in sin, you are a hypocrite and when that happens they are going to rebel against everything you stand for.”
Because of that, he continued, “When I stand preaching every time, I’m conscious of that because my children hear me, my wife hears me, and they can tell whether I’m just preaching, or I live it, because it’s very easy to talk it, but difficult to live it. And we must not just be talkers of principles, but livers of it, we must preserve our own values and, number three, we have to practise it.”

Before we know how to love the prophet s.a.w, we firstly need to know who Muhammad s.a.w was or is?
Muhammad s.a.w was the best of creations sent to humanity as Allah says,
We have sent thee but as a mercy to humanity. Surah 21:107.
Allah says,
Surah Saba vrs 38,
We have sent from,among you messenger to give you glad tidings to mankind..
The prophet s.a.w among all prophets was the only prophet sent to mankind and was the only prophet whose qualities of all prophets was given to him.
The prophet s.a.w was born in makkah when his father travelled to yathrib I.e medina. Upon coming to makkah, Abdullah bin Abdul mutalib bin Abdul manaf was the tenth son of his father Abdul mutalib.
Abdullah died when Amina bint wahhab was pregnant.
Muhammad s.a.w was born in,the year of ammul fil I.e year of elephant.
This year was called year of elephant because it was the year Allah s.w.t destroyed abraha and his armies with the intention of destroying the kaaba.
The exact date of the birth of rasulullah s.a.w is not known but it was the year of rabbi ul awwal. Some historians say 12th others say 14th.
The prophet s.a.w when he was born by his mother was sent to a foster mother to train him. This was the tradition of the Arabs to send their children to train them in learning their traditions and knowledge.
The prophet s.a,w was taken care by alimatu sadia who was a friend of Amina. She cared for rasulullaj for sometimes and sent him back to his mother. But due to the love she had for rasulullah s.a.w, she came back to Amina and asked to care for him again.
He took care of him for six years. When he came back to him mother,it was not long that she died and he was left under the care of his grandfather, abdulmutalib who took care of him until he reached 12years. He also died.

Muhammad s.a.w was the best of creations sent to humanity as Allah says,
We have sent thee but as a mercy to humanity. Surah 21:107.

We have sent from,among you messenger to give you glad tidings to mankind..
The prophet s.a.w among all prophets was the only prophet sent to mankind and was the only prophet whose qualities of all prophets was given to him.
The prophet s.a.w was born in makkah when his father travelled to yathrib I.e medina. Upon coming to makkah, Abdullah bin Abdul mutalib bin Abdul manaf was the tenth son of his father Abdul mutalib.
Abdullah died when Amina bint wahhab was pregnant.
Muhammad s.a.w was born in,the year of ammul fil I.e year of elephant.
This year was called year of elephant because it was the year Allah s.w.t destroyed abraha and his armies with the intention of destroying the kaaba.
The exact date of the birth of rasulullah s.a.w is not known but it was the year of rabbi ul awwal. Some historians say 12th others say 14th.
The prophet s.a.w when he was born by his mother was sent to a foster mother to train him. This was the tradition of the Arabs to send their children to train them in learning their traditions and knowledge.
The prophet s.a,w was taken care by alimatu sadia who was a friend of Amina. She cared for rasulullaj for sometimes and sent him back to his mother. But due to the love she had for rasulullah s.a.w, she came back to Amina and asked to care for him again.
He took care of him for six years. When he came back to him mother,it was not long that she died and he was left under the care of his grandfather, abdulmutalib who took care of him until he reached 12years. He also died.

One of Ghana’s finest Kumawood actors, Bill Asamoah has admitted that the Ghana Actors Guild (GAG) which he is a member of has a big problem.
The problem, according to him, is the decision by some actors and actresses to disassociate themselves from the group.
He told Adom Entertainment News that the worrying situation has adversely affected the progress of the group.
The award-winning actor opined that, the Guild that is to protect the wellbeing of actors and actresses in the industry is currently drowning but he believes that the situation would have been different if all his colleagues were to work together in the interest of the group.
Mr Asamoah, who doubles as the President of the Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Actors Guild, says some of the group members have also stopped coming for meetings to deliberate on the improvement of the industry and their own welfare.
He, therefore, advised his colleague actors and actresses to identify themselves with the Guild and contribute their quota to make the group a better one.
The Kumawood Darling, as he is popularly called, lauded the late Ghana Actors Guild President, Rev. Eddie Coffie and commended him for giving the Guild a global recognition.
“He might not necessarily be the 100 percent leader, but his impact was greatly felt,” he emphasized.

A partially blind woman has ventured into prostitution claiming it’s because she wants to raise money for eye surgery.
The woman, who only identified herself as Kelly of Chitungwiza, told H-Metro that she wanted to raise US$500 needed for her treatment and has engaged her lover to protect her.
“My life is no longer the same following the passing on of my mother and this forced me into prostitution my brother,” said Kelly.
“I have no problem of accommodation since I am renting a room with my boyfriend Elton in Unit K Chitungwiza and he is the one who keeps all the money I receive from the men I render services to.
“Elton makes sure he records all the vehicle registration numbers of motorists who hire me and makes sure I am secured.
“I used to stay in Epworth before relocating to Chitungwiza with my boyfriend. Tinomwa chibhodhoro husiku hwose kuti tisanyanyonzwa chando.
“After raising the money I do not see myself continuing in sex work because the life is not good at all and some of the clients want to take advantage of me to give me peanuts.
“It is not a good method to raise money though but I was left without any other option until I agreed with my boyfriend.
“If I find someone to help me I will not continue in the streets. I will invite you home for more detail since I cannot disclose everything in the presence of these ladies; after all I am here for business, ndipewo dollar rekutenga sadza,” said Kelly accompanied by another thigh vendor identified only as Rachel.
Kelly told H-Metro that she comes from Mudzi where most of her relatives live but has since stopped visiting them.

“I record those who engage Kelly for security purposes and I make sure she is kept warm by collecting pieces of cardboard boxes to make fire,” he said.
Rachel told H-Metro that she helps Kelly by holding her hand when approaching her potential clients saying most of the clients are after young ladies.
“Kelly is getting more customers and we have agreed with all hookers around this place that we must not compete with her since she is after raising money for eye surgery,” said Rachel.
“I give her a hand leading her to her clients because it will be dark since she is blind ini ndakatanga ndichinyara ndaizoti ndadhakwa ndotanga kuseka varume vanouya but these days I am now a senior,” said Rachel.

Montie Trio Sentenced To 4 Months In Prison; Owners To Pay Hefty Fine
The dust has settled and the Supreme Court has finally determined the faith of the trio who passed contemptuous comments about Judges. The trio, which includes a presenter and two other panelists, were today sentenced to four months in prison.
The Court earlier issued a warrant for the owners of the station, host of the station’s ‘Pampaso’ programme, and the panelists, who threatened to kill judges over their handling of a case on the credibility of the voters’ register, to appear before them to answer for contempt charges.
The panelists, Alistair Nelson, Godwin Ako Gunn and a host of the show, Salifu Maase and owners of the radio station were found guilty of contempt charges following threats by the panelists to kill the Judges.
The accused persons were found guilty of contempt charges brought against them by the court during its second hearing of the suit last week.
One of the accused panelists, Alistair Nelson , at that hearing, blamed his comments in which he and Godwin Ako Gunn, threatened to kill the judges to a disease called “kpokpogbligbli.” According to him, “kpokpogbligbli is an unknown disease that takes over a person’s body and controls what he says and does.
Aside this, the owners of Montie FM, an Accra-based radio station were fined 30,000 each and were ordered to make settlement by close of day tomorrow.

Ghanaian High-Life musician, Bisa Kdei has finally made his views known regarding the ongoing speculations about his involvement with fellow musician, Becca.
Bisa Kdei, on the biggest celebrity and lifestyle show in the Ghana, Celebrity Fanzone, last Saturday denied several reports claiming he is in a relationship with Becca after several provocative photos of the duo surfaced online few months ago.
Bisa Kdei, who was pressed by co-host Caroline Sampson, consistently, denied that he had anything to do with the beautiful musician, insisting that people only assumed that they were together, ‘which is false.’
“There is nothing going on… I am single now. I am talking to a lot of people, I haven’t decided. It is something I haven’t decided. Me and Becca did not come out to say we are dating. People started assuming,” Bisa Kdei maintained.
The ‘Brother Brother’ hit-maker also expressed his amazement about the kind of reception he receives from his fans whenever he travels to perform outside Ghana, and also how grateful he is to God for how far he has come as a musician.
“Canada was amazing, it was just something else. You know over a 1000 people couldn’t enter the venue. The venue was big but it was too small for me. When I started, that’s all I was picturing…to be on top, and now by God’s grace I am there,” Bisa Kdei stated.
