Alhamdulillah,whosoever Allah guides,none can lead him astray and whosoever is led astray cannot be guided.
WHO IS MUHAMMAD S.A.W?
Before we know how to love the prophet s.a.w, we firstly need to know who Muhammad s.a.w was or is?
Muhammad s.a.w was the best of creations sent to humanity as Allah says,
We have sent thee but as a mercy to humanity. Surah 21:107.
Allah says,
Surah Saba vrs 38,
We have sent from,among you messenger to give you glad tidings to mankind..
The prophet s.a.w among all prophets was the only prophet sent to mankind and was the only prophet whose qualities of all prophets was given to him.
The prophet s.a.w was born in makkah when his father travelled to yathrib I.e medina. Upon coming to makkah, Abdullah bin Abdul mutalib bin Abdul manaf was the tenth son of his father Abdul mutalib.
Abdullah died when Amina bint wahhab was pregnant.
Muhammad s.a.w was born in,the year of ammul fil I.e year of elephant.
This year was called year of elephant because it was the year Allah s.w.t destroyed abraha and his armies with the intention of destroying the kaaba.
The exact date of the birth of rasulullah s.a.w is not known but it was the year of rabbi ul awwal. Some historians say 12th others say 14th.
The prophet s.a.w when he was born by his mother was sent to a foster mother to train him. This was the tradition of the Arabs to send their children to train them in learning their traditions and knowledge.
The prophet s.a,w was taken care by alimatu sadia who was a friend of Amina. She cared for rasulullaj for sometimes and sent him back to his mother. But due to the love she had for rasulullah s.a.w, she came back to Amina and asked to care for him again.
He took care of him for six years. When he came back to him mother,it was not long that she died and he was left under the care of his grandfather, abdulmutalib who took care of him until he reached 12years. He also died.
